# DNLD — Privacy Policy This policy explains what personal data dnld.music and the DNLD newsletter collect, and what happens to it. "We" means DNLD (Donald Piret) and Heftii, Inc., which runs the newsletter. For any question or request, email [contact@dnld.music](mailto:contact@dnld.music). ## The website dnld.music has no accounts, and the newsletter sign-up is its only form. Like any web host, our hosting provider sees your IP address and the pages you request, to serve them and keep the site secure. - **Fonts.** The site's typefaces are served from dnld.music itself, so no font service such as Google Fonts sees your visit. - **Mixes player.** The homepage's mixes player is SoundCloud's own, which loads from SoundCloud and may set its cookies. See [SoundCloud's privacy policy](https://soundcloud.com/pages/privacy). - **Links out.** Ticket, streaming and social links take you to other sites, each with its own privacy policy. ## Analytics We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies (`_ga` and `_ga_…`) that recognise your browser when you come back, and Google receives your IP address, browser details and the pages you visit. Google processes that data under [its privacy policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy). We have turned off its advertising features, so it is not used to build a profile of you or to show you ads. If you visit from the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, or from somewhere we can't tell, Google Analytics stays off until you allow it on the notice at the bottom of the screen. To find out where you are, your browser asks our server for the country of your connection once per visit; it keeps the answer for that visit only, and we do not store it. Your choice is remembered in your browser for 12 months, after which we ask again. You can change it at any time under "Your cookie choice" at the end of this policy on dnld.music; withdrawing also deletes the Google Analytics cookies. Anywhere else, Google Analytics loads with the page. You can block it with [Google's opt-out add-on](https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or any content blocker. ## The newsletter If you sign up for the DNLD newsletter, we collect your email address, where on dnld.music you signed up, and when you signed up, confirmed and unsubscribed. For each newsletter we send you, we also record whether it was delivered, bounced or marked as spam, so that we stop emailing addresses that cannot or do not want to receive it. We first email you to confirm, and send nothing else until you do. Sign-ups that are not confirmed within 30 days are deleted. We send the newsletter because you asked for it, and we use your address only for that, about once a month. We never sell it or share it for anyone else's marketing, and we do not track whether you open the emails or click their links. The newsletter runs at newsletter.dnld.music, operated by Heftii, Inc. Subscriptions are stored with our hosting providers, Vercel and Neon, and emails are sent through Resend. Each handles your address only to store it or deliver our emails. They are based in the United States, so your address may be stored and processed there. Each issue also has a public web version, which contains nothing personal. Every newsletter has a link to unsubscribe, and most email apps show their own unsubscribe button too. When you unsubscribe, we keep your address marked as unsubscribed so that we do not email you again unless you sign up again. To have it deleted completely, email [contact@dnld.music](mailto:contact@dnld.music). ## Your rights You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, by emailing [contact@dnld.music](mailto:contact@dnld.music). Where the law where you live gives you further rights, such as in the EU, the UK or Singapore, you can also complain to your data protection authority. ## Children dnld.music is not directed at anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. ## Changes If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date. ## Contact [contact@dnld.music](mailto:contact@dnld.music) Heftii, Inc., 1207 Delaware Ave Ste 3969, Wilmington, Delaware 19806, United States
